you wanna listen to a producer that has something to say without saying it? MadLib yo.. like, him, Pete Rock, J-Dilla & No I.D. are my all time favor producers to listen to & study. Lib's got like 5-6 installments of his beat tape "The BeatKonducta" & i've got everyone except the last joint. he's been a very deep & serious inspiration to me & my work, especially when he did most of the production on Quasimoto's "The Unseen" album. its time to respect underground music ya'll. they hold the key to saving hip-hop.
..i wish i could find another record shop like this & just go off, haha. i miss Chicago..
