for anyone who doesn't know, Tomoaki "Nigo" Nagao is the founder & creator of BAPE. that line was out in Japan lonnnnggggggg before it came to the US & people were rocking it. tryyyy 1993. Nigo is a genius though. he's like 30 some years old but he doesn't look it, haha.
he's also co-owner & a head designer of Billionaire Boys Club, another one of my favorite lines, with Pharrell.
i mean, i don't think P was gonna start a line without having someone in the seat with 'em that knew the business. BBC has been out for about 3-4 years now & has prospered in money as well as artistic innovation.
