DJ Toomp

aight, so - DJ Toomp has been one of my favorite Atlanta producers ever since T.I.''s "Trap Muzik" album. if you didn't know, Toomp produced majority of his first FOUR albums, so i guess thats why they're all so fckin' classic. listen to "No More Talk" by T.I. - you'll understand then.

Toomp really needs to go ahead & put out a compilation album like Timbaland does & just shut sht down. i love the way he works in the studio because he's a REAL PRODUCER. until then, we have to settle with various production he's done with Kanye, Luda, Mariah Carey, Jay-Z, Jeezy & everything from T.I. hahahaaaaa.

Getcha Camera Out; Getcha Flash Right.

as everyone knows, i love Alicia Keys. she is sooo talented & she's fine as hell. now, her & Swizzy have been hitting it off & whatnot because Swizzy got a divorce with Mashonda & her WEIRD ass.

i never thought Mashonda was Swizzy's fit anyway.. i don't think Alicia is a fit for him either but i'll take Ms. Keys over Mashonda anyday. haha.

i honestly can see Common with Alicia more than i can Swizzy, but thats just me. Alicia is a whooole lot of woman, despite what you hear in her music. do your homework, dammit.

2012 // Beyond

i honestly believe that even with the becoming of this world today & where the Bible says it will be destroyed by man, i don't think people honestly get what that means. i honestly do not think people really think before they act, i don't think people look before they step or seek out their own answers before looking for a handout.

this world has been corrupted by the lazy & destroyed by the rich & its only going to get worse. people are now relying on more machines or artificial intelligence & thinking that they're going to be able to control what they create.. that sht isn't going to happen. you build things with A.I. & its GOING to get smarter FASTER & then you're screwed.

people have slowly but surely lessened the value of morals & understanding like never before. i've never seen sooo many people that feed off of a weakness of a human to propel themselves upward. we are suppose to pick each other up, not put each other down. this world has become a breeding ground for deceit, revenge, hate & injustice by the hands of those with too much power & those with not enough material (go back, reread, comprehend & think about these last few lines & then you'll understand what i'm saying).

its safe to say now that mankind is doomed because mankind is now lacking love, faith & moral. but then again, technically this IS just my opinion...

..or is the news & economy proving my point enough for you?

Nixonnnn.

like i tell everyone, i don't wear watches because people make a big deal about them & the media has made it so that if you aren't rocking the most flashy or most expensive watch, you're lame. whatever.

if i ever go back to collecting watches like i use to, they'll be watches that Casio G-Shock makes & these by Nixon.

Nixon is a company that always seems to be unafraid to take some risks when it comes to the styling and colors they unveil in the watch department which is how i like watches. i don't really like plain sht. this is the Peach Rubber Playa FLURO joint that i've always liked but could never find. i think imma have to find it online or in some other area.

its got the Japanese quartz structure to it so i guess thats why i like 'em so much - anything Japanese is fly to me, lol.

The New One.

its has been confirmed that the new N.E.R.D. album will be dropping early 2010 between February & April. Pharrell & Chad don't wanna give an exact date yet because they want it to be a surprise.

what's not a surprise is him having Santigold on the album. she's on a track thats called "Soldier" with features Lil' Wayne as well, which has already made the album, so i'm interested in finding out what thats going to sound like. hell, i'm interested in finding out what the whole album is going to sound like - which hopefully it tops "Seeing Sounds". hard to do, haha.

Self Explanatory.

"Nothing Could Be Better" - Sinoptris from "Green Skeyes & Perple Cidewalks EP"

"she's super cooool.."

Hello, Its the Martiannn.

i find it very disturbing but yet another act of genius when you can gross 42 million dollars in ONE YEAR from doing shows around the nation & then when its time for you to go to court before another tour, YOU can tell the judge - "..imma go to jail but umm, lemme make somemore money with this new tour that i promised my fans, so i can pay you & your judge friends."

what? like, thats power yo.. money is fckin power. let some REGULAR black man with drug charges & whatever ELSE (Wayne has on his name) do some crap like that.. they'd be kickin' his ass all up & down the court room & THENNN throw the book at 'em. hahahahaahahahahaha! i applaud that man though because its actually something amazing to me. 42 million dollars??? smh.

look, lemme get 5 mil & no one has to worry about me ever again. hahaha.

Luxury: Cococure.

i've always seen sexuality & sensuality as art or in art form. my grandma used to always say that those who are ignorant or childish will end up with childish friends & childish mates.. which is true.

sexuality & sensuality are what makes this world run & if it were to be taken serious, it could actually SAVE this world, & help it run more smoothly. i consider sex & affection art because conglomerates between mind, body & soul nowadays are ridiculous. every moment between 2 people have been taken for granted on BOTH ends.

sex & affection/sexuality & sensuality are seen as a joke as well because the past experiences with poor relations with past acquaintances. you can't really determine someone else's mindset on sex/affection BASED on that. the faster THATS understood, the faster each of us can evolve. i believe that people move to fast with sex & then wonder why they've never experienced certain things. virgins are excluded from this statement to a degree, male & female.

i believe (from a man's point of view) that the female body is a beautiful thing.. from bearing a child to being able to capture feelings & emotions with walking, hand signals, & sole structure. as they always say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder - & thats one of the purest statements ever made. when the male species finally realizes what i realized & nurtured at a young age, the female species will no longer have to be timid in going with their heart & soul into sexual actions with a male.. everyone needs to keep an open mind & open heart to new & fruitful things.

Maxed Out.

..nuff said.

Takashi Murakami

this dude has been ill ever since i seen Kanye's "Graduation" album cover, for those of you who didn't know who artist was or who don't read..

he's a dope ass Japanese comtemporary artist who does it all - fine arts media, painting, digital and commercial media. he got a degree at Tokyo National University of Fine Arts, which is a school that i wanted to go to in high school, but ehhhhh.. lmao. now he's credited for developing the new style, Superflat, which is just something he says is "a new culture & rejuvenation of the contemporary Japanese art scene".

dude is major & been major since 2001, which is why i don't understand why he wasn't brought to our attention until 6 years later. he had a production & design studio setup for a while & then said he was gonna approach the market with his work & registered his organization as Kaikai Kiki Co., Ltd. outta his pocket, hes got over 100 heads working for him, with work & studios in both Long Island City, New York and Japan.

power.. i love Japan.

Blazin'.

this joint aint nothing but the truth. i've been looking at these joints for a while & when i test drove one, i fell in love with 'em. the only downfall with SS modeled Chevy's is the gas. same time, if you've got a truck, its about the same. i had said i wanted a new Dodge Ram or new F-150 ---- fck that. pass me a black Chevy TrailBlazer SS. hahaha.

Forever.

the video is finally out for this song.. i'm still waiting on "Money To Blow" & i STILL think the original for "Money To Blow" with Drake by himself was better than the crap with Wayne on it.

anyway, check the video out; "Forever" Drake // Kanye West // Lil Wayne // Eminem

"..come back like Jordan, wearin' the 4-5.."

as all of my readers, MySpace friends, Facebook friends & Twitter followers know - i'm a producer. been producing & evolving as a man of artistry & precision for the last decade.. (10 years for you slow people).

what i've learned in life is what is told through my music. you may not get the story right away but there has always been a story & meaning behind every drum pattern, every chord i play, every sample, every riff, everything. i started when i was about 12-13 & now at 22, i look at the hip-hop game & i look at what everyone is looking for -- & i think its my time to retire from it.

don't get me wrong, i love music & always will. i'm never gonna stop listening to (good/real) music.. but as far as being someone who COMPOSES real music, believes in real music - i don't think anyone in the game would be ready or willing to step outside of the box to work with me. everyone is fixed on making a club record or some type of dance record.. trying to get some young broad drunk or eating pussy. i mean, eating pussy is cool & all, but what i'm getting at is, there's too much of the same thing going on. i really dont think me & about 1000 other real-music-making producers (not BEATMAKERS) feel the same way.

i've spoken to a few producer friends & they all (except one) have put it down. they've stopped producing & were giving away beats as blessings to artists. if they got paid, they got paid. if they didn't, they didn't. it didn't matter about the money because it honestly doesn't make you a better person nor musician. it just shows that you value the money more than the movement in which you SAY you're apart of.. it shows that you limit your art to the power of a dollar.

i will be releasing my final 2 projects next month, & they will be for free just like the rest of my projects. on October 16th, exclusively on my blog ONLY, any & everyone can download "The Golden Void Beat Tape". that tape is technically a prequel to my original October 27th release "Paper Chasin' & Lipstick Dreams". that also will be available here but also at www.myspace.com/acesinop.

if i stay around the music game after these 2 projects release, it would be strictly being a record engineer, with the possibility of furthering my knowledge of some logistics of the craft. i have a nice basis & tricks of my own (skills) but i can always learn more. will i ever go back to producing?? - something everyone has been making me think about..

answer: can you promise me something real to listen to ?
