art has always been a thing that i've loved & embraced because its who i am. some always ask me why i'm so graphic - tell this magazine thank you because it was a tool for many days in high school & much inspiration in my college days, walking into the Fine Arts Center from the cold outside, with "Save Room" in my head, carrying my portfolio.
their mission statement is to "present art that is provacative, technically adept and worthy of exposure".. makes all the sense in the world because alot of the artwork that is featured is spectacular. it was originally created back in '94 for street artists with THEIR art & them to showcase pop culture imagery. i give the owner & creator, Robert Williams, i big hand. thank you sir.
this mag has always been a favorite & was once in my grasp when every issue came out like senior year in high school. its an art & culture magazine that i just find to be one of the BEST to ever graze a bookstore or any area that sells books & magazines other than XXL, The Soure, SSX, & Vibe.
