Responsible For Everything You Listen To.
as we all know Drake's working on his album, tryna get that finished for March & he got a joint done with Jay-Z. but he opened up on something that made me pay attention.
"If I get people’s verses back and they don’t coincide with the vision I have, I’ll do the whole album by myself.."
what's surfaced is the verses & melodies that he's getting back, they aren't what he's liking & it isn't what he expects from the artists that he's chosen or choosing to work with. i can't even be mad at em for that because you want everyone to give their best, just as well as YOU are. being that he's a freshmen in the commercial atmosphere, he's gotta come harder. he already knows what he wants everything to sound like so he's pretty much saying "don't slight me on deliver just because i'm just getting here."
"Thank Me Later" is gonna be the talk of the year & is guranteed to do more than Cudi in the first week. Drake done had everyone waiting a little too long for new material so everyone is gonna grab on this joint. i'll be glad when it hits the shelf too so i can see how many frontin' ass fellas are gonna actually be buying it.

nah, i honestly DON'T know why my mind works the way it does.. or why its consistently prosecuted as being the lesser of any equation that i am added to. i look myself in the mirror every morning & just --- stare.. i take long looks at myself but i stopped asking this question a looong time ago: who am i? - i've been given the answers to that question a long time ago.i think i can sit & write all day long but if there's no action, what good is for me to continue to script my thoughts? i'm always wondering about who's gonna care as much as i would, or who's gonna see as much as i see, or even listen long enough to construct an answer or opinion that suits the statements i may make or questions i may ask, in the best way. i gotta stop that.. there's something thats about to happen & i believe there's a lot of people that aren't going to be ready for the outcome. there's alotta questions that'll be answered & alotta true colors/hearts will be shown.
the sad thing about what i just stated is, i DON'T know what it is.. i just feel it.. i see the drum patterns working themselves.. i see too much blue mixing with green. as always i just really wish i didn't see things before they manifest.. & with that, understanding me is like trying to understand the government. *finishes drink, leaves chair*

Jay Electronica has got to be the best thing breathing right now for the hip-hop world. i remember when me & an artist i was producing for at the time did a collabo track with Jay & i was like "..who is that? he SOUNDS hot.." next thing i knew i was bumpin' him in the whip. follow him on Twitter & stay up on what he does next.

i wish i could go to this - & i didn't know they were having it THIS EARLY in the year - its a live art show or performance exhibit in L.A. called "VOX Humana". its gonna be at the LA Convention Center; its a big art show where alotta street graf artists/painters/photographers come to show off LIVE in front of you. a few artists/legends like Mear One, Kofie, & one of MY favorites, Retna, will be there & they'll be combining all of their skills onto one big canvas, creating a piece right in front of people. its from Jan 20th-24th so if you're in the LA area, or from ANYWHERE, & like real art, go check it. snap a couple pictures for me.

i got a natural infatuation with a female in heels.. like, i don't know what it is but if you got on some nice heels & can walk in them joints, you're doing something, lol. Salvatore Ferragamo has got to be one of the top designer labels for females in heels & couture. the spring/summer collection for 2010 looks rather benevolent & with that - i think imma be seeing alot more of HER on alotta females. no, fellas, i'm not gay nor do i cross-dress so for all the assholes asking why am i blogging about heels & i'm a man: cause ya bxtch likes it. *winks* - i'm have a natural interest in fashion OF ALL FORMS - not just for men.
